About Robin:
I'm a survivor of childhood abuse and domestic violence. I grew up knowing that I wasn't valuable to the very people who were intended to love and protect me.
As an adult, I wandered from one bad relationship to the next, even as a Christian, finding myself involved with men who were neglectful, abusive, and controlling. When my now ex-husband was arrested for domestic violence, I finally had a moment of peace to breathe and meet God again. I began a very God led journey to healing, delving into both secular psychology and Scripture.
Not too long after that, I felt called to speak out for women like myself. To let them know that they were loved and prized by God and that no man should ever treat them as anything less than a gift.I help them to understand the effects of chronically unstable environments on their ability to live the life they are called to.
If you have suffered abuse, I believe God wants you to know that you are not defective; you are his daughter, a princess of great value. You need to live within your God given limitations to bloom into the woman you were called to be.
Today, I run my own private practice counseling office. I have a bachelor's in education and a master's in social work from UCF. I have developed an online program to educate women on the effects of domestic violence and navigating a path to recovery. My Heart is for all God's daughters to recognize who they are to God and to live out the life he called them to without hesitation, free from emotional and physical abuse.
